Use Your Head, Not Just Your Heart

Smart choices start with standards, not just emotions.
Are you book smart? Street smart? A mix of both?
Now let me ask you this: How smart are you when it comes to the people you let into your life?
Because here’s the truth—if you’re leading with pure emotion, chances are you’re making decisions that don’t serve you. Feelings can cloud judgment. They can blur boundaries. And they can keep you stuck in patterns that don’t align with your goals.
The dictionary defines “smart” as having or showing a high degree of mental ability. As a health and mindset coach, I’m here for the mental game. So let’s get honest: Are your standards high enough?
If you’re not holding yourself to high standards, you’re probably not requiring much from others either. That’s not self-love—that’s settling. And you’re not here for that.
Greatness attracts greatness. So start with you.
Take a real look in the mirror and ask:
What do I actually want from this life?
What kind of woman am I becoming?
What am I tolerating that no longer fits who I am?
Write it down. Get clear. And then commit to moving differently. Because being smart isn’t about perfection—it’s about intention. It’s about knowing your worth and protecting your peace.
